
This test is useful for quantifying deficits in social behavior in transgenic animals exhibiting autistic traits as well as evaluating novel chemical entities for their effect on social behavior. a Mice were tested in three paradigms for anxiety-like behavior in the following sequence: elevated plus maze (EPM), lightdark box (LDB), and open field (OF).
